Respiratory allergy, heaves, equine asthma

A watery runny nose can be a symptom of an incipient respiratory allergy which can eventually lead to more serious symptoms: runny nose with thick mucus, cough, and later even difficulty breathing and asthmatic suffocation. Unfortunately allergic hypersensitivity cannot be cured: once it has developed, there is no going back. The horse requires constant attention and treatment to remain symptom-free. Horsekeeping technology plays a prominent role. In each case, the phytotherapy treatment must be adapted to the specific condition of the ill horse, to its current symptoms and the type and severity of its illness. The daily, lifelong feeding of medicinal herbs helps a lot in improving the horse's condition and keeping it on an acceptable level.
 
Specification:
Incipient respiratory allergy (ALLERG)
Allergic cough, heaves, equine asthma with respiratory mucus (CORST, CORST START)
Dry heaves (no mucus), equine asthma with good condition (HOTAR)
Dry heaves, equine asthma with deteriorating condition (ASIMA)
Medicinal herbs for pregnant mares suffering from runny nose, cough and asthma (POCAST)

Recommended medicinal product:

  1. watery runny nose: ALLERG
  2. watery runny nose and superficial coughs: ALLERG and HEPA products (ALLERG PLUS)
  3. watery runny nose and tearing: ALLERG, UVET and HEPA products
  4. thin, easily flowing (white) nasal discharge and cough: CORST
  5. runny nose, cough, difficulty breathing: CORST and HEPA products
  6. white/yellowish, sticky nasal discharge (and cough): CORST and NOSPAS products
  7. white/yellowish/green, sticky respiratory secretions, cough, difficulty breathing: CORST, HEPA and NOSPAS products (CORST START)
  8. Asthma arising on a nervous basis: CORST PLUS
  9. dry heaves (no or minimal respiratory secretions, significant difficult breathing):

- no mucus, deteriorating condition: ASIMA

- no mucus, good condition: HOTAR

 

At the beginning of a significant deterioration (increasing difficulty breathing, asthma), in addition to the above combinations, use as an additional supplement: HELPER product

 

In the case of a product combinations, all products are fed in full portions.

 

Recommended feeding time:

  • ALLERG and ALLERG PLUS are recommended in prevention for 2-3 months; in treatment until the symptoms disappear
  • UVET can be used continuously for 3 months, after which a 2-3 week break is recommended
  • HELPER can only be fed with a time limit: after a 5-10 day course a break of 5-10 days suggested. Then it can be repeated, if necessary
  • all other products are recommended for at least 3-6 months. They can be used for treatment or for maintenance of the good condition continuously, without a time limit
